About Us

The Building Owners and Managers Association of Memphis (BOMA Memphis) was established with the primary purposes of: (i) to provide a united body representing the commercial real estate community in related issues; (ii) to maintain and increase the level of professionalism in the real estate industry; and (iii) to keep its membership in tune with current issues concerning the real estate market; regulatory and legislative affairs, trends in marketing or specific building maintenance needs.

The mission of BOMA Memphis is to educate, promote, and advocate the interests of the Memphis commercial real estate industry.

Who We Are

BOMA Memphis is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit professional trade association representing one of the largest industries in the Mid-South – commercial real estate.

BOMA Memphis is governed by established bylaws. The association is led by the Board of Directors and actively managed by an Association Executive, under the direction of the association President.

What We Do

As the leading organization for the commercial real estate profession, BOMA Memphis plays an important public role as a leader and public advocate for the industry. BOMA Memphis' activities are as diverse as the constituency we serve:

  • We conduct regular education programs to enrich our members’ expertise in property management.
  • We send representatives to our national meetings.
  • We engage in governmental legislative lobbying as appropriate.
  • We support professional designation in property management.
  • We provide opportunities for members to build networks and relationships that add to the strength of the industry and the association.

We are a part of BOMA International, a dynamic international federation representing 90 local associations throughout the United States and 18 international affiliates. BOMA's 16,500-plus members own or manage more than 10.5 billion square feet of commercial properties in the United States.
